... and I want to take part in the beginning of this new age of space exploration.
Excessive mining and exploitation of our planet is taking a big toll on our environment. Therefore, finding new, less harmful ways to obtain rare metals and other materials will be an important part in the future if we want to keep making progress in science.
Also, to become a species that is not just limited on this rock floating in space, we need to study our solar system and other objects around us. I want to help achieve this by studying space objects with geophysical methods and new inventions.
I am studying Physics of the Earth System: Meteorology, Oceanography and Geophysics at the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel because I was always interested in Geosciences and wanted to learn how everything works in the world we live in. I decided to focus on Geophysics due to my fascination with geology and space.
